The premium UV-resistant resin we use is specifically selected to slow the natural amber glow that develops in all resin over time, so your piece remains as beautiful as possible for decades.
Think of it less as deterioration and more as a patina the warm golden quality that develops over years is reminiscent of golden hour, and many clients come to love this evolution as part of their keepsake's story.
Keeping your piece away from direct sunlight will significantly slow this process and keep your preserved roses and flowers looking their very best for longer.

Colour Correction
When your wedding flowers are dried, their colours naturally shift. Richly pigmented blooms often deepen, while white flowers roses in particular may soften to ivory or develop warm, honeyed tones. This is completely normal and, for many brides, entirely beautiful. However, we know that for some clients, colour is everything and that is exactly why we offer colour correction as an optional, client-led service. We never apply it without asking you first.
After your flowers arrive and have been dried, we will share photographs with you showing how your blooms have settled. At that point, you can decide whether you would like us to subtly enhance the colour back towards its original vibrancy, or whether you would prefer to embrace the natural beauty of what the drying process has created. Both choices are equally valid, and both produce stunning results. There is no pressure either way this is your piece, and your decision entirely.
A few things worth knowing about colour correction: it works best on the freshest flowers, it can occasionally cause very delicate petals to curl slightly, and it will never be an exact match to the original our aim is always a sympathetic enhancement rather than a replica. Some flower varieties including most greenery, dried flower bouquet stems, and certain wildflowers hold their colour so well through the drying process that correction simply is not needed.

Resin flower preservation is a luxury craft, and like all fine handmade work, it carries the beautiful imperfections that separate art from mass production. Before your piece is cast, you will receive a bespoke design proof showing exactly how your flowers will be arranged this is our commitment to you, and nothing proceeds without your approval. But there are a few natural characteristics of the resin process it is important to understand.
Transparent spots, sometimes called love marks, are entirely normal particularly in preserved roses. They often appear where the blooms were touched on your wedding day and are, to many brides, a cherished detail of their bouquet's real story. Small bubbles are also a natural and expected part of working with resin. We invest considerable care in minimising them, but completely bubble-free resin is rarely achievable in any honest preservation studio anyone who claims otherwise is worth questioning. What we guarantee is meticulous craft and a piece that is genuinely beautiful.
Colours, textures and shapes will also differ slightly from your original bouquet this is not a limitation of our work, but simply the nature of preserved flowers. Your dried flower arrangement will be unique to your blooms, your day, and the journey they took to reach us. No two pieces are ever the same, and that is precisely what makes them worth keeping forever.

The most important thing you can do to ensure the best possible result from your resin flower preservation is to send your bouquet to us as quickly as possible after your wedding within two days is ideal.
Fresh flowers hold their form, colour and petals far better than those that have had time to wilt. Even flowers that arrive within a few days may have already begun to change, depending on when the bouquet was originally arranged by your florist so every hour counts.
We provide clear, simple instructions for packaging and shipping your flowers safely to our UK Yorkshire studio. Following these carefully will ensure your blooms arrive in the best possible condition. The quality of what we can achieve is always directly linked to the condition of what arrives we work with nature, never against it.

Luxury flower preservation is a slow art, and we make no apology for that. Each piece moves through careful drying, bespoke design, hand placement, and multiple casting and finishing stages and at every step, we refuse to rush. Proper drying of your flowers alone can take several weeks before design work can even begin, and that is just the start of the process.
We will keep you informed at every key stage: when your flowers arrive with us, when we send your bespoke design proof for approval, and when your finished piece is being prepared for delivery. We confirm your address before shipping and will never send your keepsake until everything is exactly right.
If you come across preservation services offering turnaround times of just a few weeks, treat that as a warning sign. Resin poured around undried flowers will yellow, crack and deteriorate far sooner than properly prepared pieces.
